New Delhi: Terra Charge, an EV Charging Infrastructure Development company, and Gurgaon-based all-electric end-to-end logistics solution provider Go EV Mobility, has announced an exclusive partnership to establish an advanced Park and Charge facility in Dwarka, Delhi.

With the installation of the facility with 11 advanced chargers, the industry players aim to contribute to the EV ecosystem. Under this collaboration, Terra Charge plans to integrate its Japanese technology charging solutions with Go EV Mobility’s smart fleet models to offer comprehensive charging solutions to the sector that is estimated to become a USD34.80 billion market in 2024. The initial charging hub underway in Dwarka aims to address EV riders’ parking and charging needs.

The strategic partnership will bring Terra Charge’s global expertise in charging infrastructure with Go EV Mobility’s smart fleet and charging solutions to address prominent challenges in the Indian EV sector. Both the companies intend to leverage their market expertise to explore new opportunities and strengthen their presence in the Indian EV landscape, tapping into the market that would grow at a CAGR of 22.20% between 2024 and 2032. The two EV players are likely to strategize further to expand their presence into new Indian EV markets or segments in the future.

The CEO of Terra Charge, Akihiro Ueda, said, “We are excited to collaborate with Go EV Mobility, and I am hopeful that through our joint effort, we will be able to solve the challenges slowing down the EV adoption in India with more effect. I believe our combined strengths and market expertise will enable us to offer a more convenient charging experience to electric vehicle users in Dwarka and support the nation’s quest towards electrifying the streets. I am also thrilled to see what exciting opportunities this collaboration will bring for Terra Charge and our EV community.”

Jasman Singh Chadha, MD and CEO of Go EV Mobility, added, “Our new collaboration with Terra Charge demonstrates our shared vision to offer comprehensive EV solutions to the masses. I believe our partnership will enable us to extend more practical and efficient EV solutions to EV users. I am confident this collaboration will be remembered as a significant step towards achieving our vision of supporting the sustainable transportation ecosystem in India.”

Terra Charge had also collaborated with SNM Cabs in the past to develop exclusive charging hubs for the ride-hailing service’s electric fleet. The strategic collaboration aligns with Terra Charge’s goal to install 800-1000 electric charge points across India by this year and record an estimated annual revenue of USD 668,000 for the financial year 2024. The company has installed its first lot of EV charging stations in Haryana and is working on expanding its network to other states, including Maharashtra and West Bengal.
