The 2024 iteration of the Carens was launched in India on 2 April, 2024.

The updated Kia Carens is offered in nine variants – Premium, Premium(O), Prestige, Prestige(O), Prestige+, Prestige+(O), Luxury, Luxury+, and X-Line.
What features are available in the new Kia Carens?
Exterior:
The Kia Carens measures 4,540mm in length and has a 2,780mm wheelbase, which is longer than that of the Seltos by 170mm. Appearance-wise, it gets LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps, LED rear lights, and LED fog lamps. However, no changes have been made to the silhouette of this seven-seater MPV.
Interior:
The interior gets a dual-tone theme, and depending on the variant, it comes with black and beige or Triton Navy and beige interior. Apart from that, the cabin features front-seat ventilation, multi-function steering, digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, eight-speaker Bose sound system, 64-colours ambient lighting, wireless charger, and electronically foldable middle-row seats for easier third-row access.
With the introduction of the Prestige+(O) trim, the model comes loaded with a sunroof along with an LED map lamp and room lamp. On the other hand, the Prestige(O) variants offer six- or seven-seating capacity options, smart key with push-button start, LED DRL, shark fin antenna, burglar alarm, and an eight-inch digital audio system.
What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the updated Kia Carens?
Under the hood, the updated Carens is available with 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed manual, six-speed iMT, six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DCT unit. Notably, the six-speed manual transmission can now also be had with the diesel engine.
