Top 25 selling cars of January 2024

January 2024 car sales witnessed dramatic changes in the top 25 list

January 2024 top 25 car sales list revealed, contributes to over 77 percent of the cars sold. Maruti Suzuki contributed with 10 cars in the list followed by Hyundai with 5, Mahindra with 4 cars, 3 from Tata Motors, 2 from Kia and one from Toyota.

Maruti Baleno is the top seller of last month with 19,630 units sold. It is closely followed by Tata Punch in the second position with 17,978 units. Maruti Wagon R takes the third position with 17,756 units. Tata Nexon takes fourth position with 17,182 units and Maruti Dzire hits the fifth spot with 16,773 units.

Tata Motors has two spots in the top five positions thanks to their increasing sales with the introduction of CNG and EV models. They have recently launched AMT with Tiago and Tigor CNG variants that will gain momentum in the coming months. We can expect Punch to get AMT as well with its CNG variants that will further increase the demand of the micro SUV.

Maruti will soon introduce the new generation Swift and Dzire later this year that will boost the sales of the two cars further and we can expect them to improve the company’s market share further. They are also developing new affordable hybrid tech with substantial fuel efficiency figures for the near future.
